Salvation
"But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them."
Ephesians 2: 4-10 NKJV
Salvation is a gift from God and the way He is able to be in relationship with us. It is how we are able to be in relationship with Him. God from the fall went on a mission to save His Children, which is those who call on His name and believe in Him. We must see that we are all sinners and in need for forgiveness, mercy, and grace. All of those three things comes to completion through salvation. Salvation is for all people, knowingly and unknowingly, we all need it to get enter the gates of Heaven. No works will save you, only Jesus. John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." By faith in Jesus Christ is the only way anyone will see and walk through the gates of Heaven.
"So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate. Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves coverings. And they heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God among the trees of the garden."
Genesis 3:6-8 NKJV
We are in need of a savior. From the beginning, when Eve ate from the tree and disobeyed the instruction of God. We fell into sin and became in need of a savior. We can go to the ten commandments and hold it up against our life. If we are guilty of one, we are guilty. God is the judge, who saw the need to send His son, Jesus, to save us from ourselves. The tree looked and seemed fine, but God said no. Most of all sin is like this, sin seems okay in society. But God says, "Turn from your wicked ways and repent!" This is why Jesus came and died the death He did. Not because He had to, because He was all man and all God, but because He chose the Father's will over His own. This is the same for every single person in the world. We come to a place and realize we need a savior. The choose is to humble ourselves and surrender to God or take on pride and choose self. Either way, you will spend eternity somewhere, the question is where. Choosing, repenting, and surrendering to God leads you to Heaven, while self leads you to Hell.
"And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God."
1 John 5:11-12 NKJV
This is not a complicated thing. The hard part comes with keeping the faith. As Paul wrote in 2 Timothy 4:6-7, For I am already being poured out as a drink offering and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." Paul acknowledges that living for God is a fight, even for him who was a disciple. But he makes the point it is worth all of it and he kept it. Now, you have to pray and ask God into your heart and ask for Him to cleanse you, forgive you, and let His will be carried out in your life. You surrender it all and see where God takes you.
Next, pray this prayer:
"God, I know that I have sinned. I am reaching out to you because I want forgiveness. I believe that His death and resurrection provided for my forgiveness. I trust in Jesus and Jesus alone as my personal Lord and Savior. Thank you Lord, for saving me and forgiving me! Amen!"
After you say that prayer, you are now a Child of God. Now, it is time to get involved in a community of believers and study the Word of God for yourself. Below are scriptures that you can turn to and dive deeper in to help you stand firm in knowing that you are saved. Start aligning yourself and asking God to help strengthen you and turn away from sin. We encourage you to check out the other resources we have too.
"But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life."
Romans 10:9 NKJV
And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved."
John 3:15-17 NKJV
"The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? When the wicked came against me to eat up my flesh, my enemies and foes, they stumbled and fell."
Psalm 27:1-2 NKJV
Healing
"And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Now to our God and Father be the glory forever and ever."
Philippians 4:19-20 NKJV
The truth is that we live in a fallen world, where trauma, abandonment, sickness, and death exists. This was not God's initial plan. He built a world where man and God could dwell together. But when the fall happened, imperfection came in and infected everything. The enemy found a foothold and has one plan: to kill, steal, and destroy. This means we are in a fight. In war, there are casualties and injuries. But we do serve a God, who heals. We can read the gospels to see that and know that. For example, Luke 6:19, "And the whole multitude sought to touch him: for there went virtue out of him, and healed them all.
"Who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness–by whose stripes you were healed."
1 Peter 2:24 NKJV
This is saying, that the 39 lashes that Jesus received on His back that should have killed Him were to heal our wounds. Any hurt, pain, illness, and etc there is hope in Jesus. The Healer, who saves us and makes us whole. We must give our burdens to Him for Him to heal them. If God wills for all men to be saved, 1 Timothy 2:3-4, who takes us from being dead in our ways, to being alive in Him must want us healed. He didn't just will His Son to die on the cross, but to go through the things leading up to it. That was the beatings and the stripes that were put on His back. Child of God hear this, there is hope and healing for the pain you are in.
"Cast your burden on the LORD, and He shall sustain you; He shall never opermit the righteous to be moved."
Psalm 55:22 NKJV
As hard as it is, we must pray and ask God to help us heal. God will heal us if we let Him in. Let Him take it and help our hearts. There is no timeline when it comes to grief and healing. But there is hope that tomorrow will be better as we pray through all the hurt. Below are scriptures for you to read and pray over yourself when you don't have the words. When the pain is crippling, but know the Word is living and true. Stand firm, Child of God, and know the love of the Father. The Word says, Philippians 4: 7, "and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." Believe that God can and will give you that peace.

"Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved, for You are my praise."

"Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much."

Psalm 146:8 NKJV
"Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light."
Matthew 11:28-30 NKJV
"Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen."
Matthew 28:19-20 NKJV
Finances
"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved."
Ephesians 1:3-6 NKJV

"And all the tithe of the land, whether of the seed of the land or of the fruit of the tree, is the Lord’s. It is holy to the Lord."
Leviticus 27:30 NKJV
"Honor the Lord with your possessions, and with the firstfruits of all your increase; so your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will overflow with new wine."
Proverbs 3:9-10 NKJV
God tells us in the Old Testament that we are to tithe 10% and honor Him with all we have. In doing so, we will have plenty to the point of overflow. This is prosperity, this is living in the blessing of God. This is one of the spiritual blessings we have access to through Christ. By us being God's Beloved, we get to stand on Ephesians 1:3-6, where Paul says, "God has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places."
"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart."
Jeremiah 29:11-13 NKJV
Simply put, prosperity is the state of being prosperous. The verse above says that God has plans for all of us to prosper. We must steward our money well. This means we must be responsible, and we can not be lazy. We have to give God something to multiply. Zero times anything is zero.
"If there is among you a poor man of your brethren, within any of the gates in your land which the Lord your God is giving you, you shall not harden your heart nor shut your hand from your poor brother, but you shall open your hand wide to him and willingly lend him sufficient for his need, whatever he needs." Deuteronomy 15:7-8 NKJV
"Both riches and honor come from You, and You reign over all. In Your hand is power and might; in Your hand it is to make great and to give strength to all. “Now therefore, our God, we thank You and praise Your glorious name. But who am I, and who are my people, that we should be able to offer so willingly as this? For all things come from You, and of Your own we have given You.."
1 Chronicles 29:12-14 NKJV
"He who is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much; and he who is unjust in what is least is unjust also in much." ... “No servant can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon."
Luke 16:10 & 13 NKJV
"Command those who are rich in this present age not to be haughty, nor to trust in uncertain riches but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy. Let them do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to give, willing to share, storing up for themselves a good foundation for the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life."
1 Timothy 6:17-19 NKJV
"There is one who scatters, yet increases more; And there is one who withholds more than is right, But it leads to poverty. The generous soul will be made rich, And he who waters will also be watered himself." Proverbs 11:24-25 NKJV
"But whoever has this world’s goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him?" 1 John 3:17 NKJV
Spiritual Warfare
"For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places."
Ephesians 2:12 NKJV
This verse is the beginning of understanding that we are in a state of warfare. There are many more, one being, Isaiah 54:17, "No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord And their righteousness is from Me,” says the Lord." The fact that there are weapons formed against us in the first place, means we are in a state of warfare. It is against the things of this world, the flesh, and the enemy. When we are made alive by Christ, we are made new and given the Spirit. As Matthew says, "The flesh is weak, but the Spirit is willing." Understanding this is key, to knowing we are in a state of fighting to hold onto the Truth of Jesus Christ in our hearts and life.
"And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and know, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen."
Matthew 28:18-20 NKJV
This is saying, Jesus gave us as His disciples, who have been made alive in Him, all authority that was given to Him to go out into the world. Jesus gives us dominion and authority, in Romans 4:17, we know we serve a God, who makes things go from dead to alive and calls things that are not as they are. Jesus's words had power, when He said in Matthew 16:19, "And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosened in heaven." This Word, was fulfilled by Matthew 28:18-20, when the keys of the kingdom, which the authority given to us by Jesus allows us to bind and loose things in heaven and on earth. What I am trying to show you, is that your words and thoughts have power. That we have been given authority to use. When you see distractions or confusion come your way, speak to it and bind it on earth and loose clarity and peace on earth, which will also be done in the heavenly realm.
"Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people."
Ephesians 6:13-18 NKJV
In the above verses, we see that there is a whole suit of armor that Paul is encouraging every born-again believer to take up the armor of God. Below is an easy to read and see image of the armor of God. We must learn and know from the Word of God, who God is and how He protects us.
"Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the LORD your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you."
Deuteronomy 31:6 NKJV
"Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand."
Isaiah 41:10 NKJV
"The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? When the wicked came against me to eat up my flesh, my enemies and foes, they stumbled and fell."
Psalm 27:1-2 NKJV
"For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind."
2 Timothy 1:7 NKJV
